stamp club project for Christmas

Making a coordinating scrapbook page and card is always a bit of a challenge. I want everyone to feel like they get equal value in there projects. This month I came up with a vintage style page and how yummy are these giant buttons. I absolutely love them!A close up of the sentiment

Snowmen class treats

I love that Kamili is in Pre-school and now I get to make all these fun class favors and teachers gifts(which I will be posting soon so be sure to check back!) I was telling my mom who is also a stampin up! demo that I was going to put three oreos in a bag stacked up and tie the top when she said "and make a snowman"...well my response was, now I am:) So I took the idea of my snowman punch card and made these cookies come to life! Here is the close up of a red one

Since I wanted to use retired product I had to make a few colors to have enough for the class.I was really happy with the way they turned out. At first they didn't have boots, but Kamili was VERY upset that I didn't give frosty feet:)
Punches I used:
Hat-small tag punch and oval punch
Face-black gems from holiday mini, nose star punch
Arms-snowflake punch
Feet- medium heat from heart to heart punch
The bags are Wilton pretzel bags!

Holiday Parks and Rec Cards Wk4

So at the end of each session of classes I give my group a parting gift. This time around I made them these little M&M holders with a ornament tag. They were simple but they seemed to be liked! Especially when they have mint M&M's inside!

Ok so on to the cards...this card I cased from a sample I had made at convention a few years back. Such a quick card but really cute.
This card is a bit vintage. I used a faux stitching technique and I think it turned out cute. The last one we made was far from traditional. Black, white, and Sahara sand. We spritzed it with shimmer, although it didn't show up in the picture!

stamp club 3-d project for Christmas

So I have close to a zillion baby food jars, since my son thinks he is the hungriest man alive.(I am starting to wonder what 13 will be like) anyhow, I had to think of something cute to do with them. You may have seen my post in October with the Halloween one...well here goes Christmas! I came up with this little box to hold two stage 2 baby food jars. Here is the front view with the jars. And here is a somewhat birds eye view so you can see how they fit inside!

Vintage Holiday Frames

So I had found these cute frames at Marshall's and had to get them. The problem is the are pretty tiny, so every time I would find a picture to put in them it would be to large. So......I figured since our Deck the Halls DSP is so beautiful why not just add a piece of that?!? Then to top it off I added some holly leaves and berry(button) to one and a few poinsettias to the other! Here is a close up of the poinsettias. I used two 5 petal flowers and a few pearls for the center.

Holiday Cards Park and Rec wk 1

My holiday Parks and Rec class had a great turn out! Here are the cards we made on week one. I try to give a variety of colors, style and layout each week. This way everyone walks away happy! Plus this is a great way for me to get my Christmas cards done!!! I absolutely adore this background stamp! It is perfect for quick cards!

This card is a similar layout to one I made at convention a few years ago.

And last but not least-dasher! I seriously think everyone needs to own this guy! He is so cute and so versatile!

Deck the Halls Fabric

I LOVE LOVE LOVE fabric. Anyone who knows me can tell by the BOLTS I own! So When stampin up said the were introducing the big shot a little while back, and I found out it cut fabric, I was sold! I have been waiting VERY SEMI-patiently for stampin up to come out with fabric...and well my wish came true!! Here are a few somewhat no traditional ways I used our Deck the Halls Fabric...
Simple sewing on this wine bag
I wrapped this hat box and tin then cut a strip of fabric for a ribbon effect
See you tomorrow!
