July Stamp Club 3-D project

Ok maybe it is just me, but I think that these hot air balloons are one of the cutest things I have EVER seen!! They were of course on my first order, in fact I think I ordered the entire collection of coordinating items! I actually came up with this cute box based on the box/bag I received at the artisan dinner with my stamp in it! The used a big shot die to create that one, but since I didn't have the die, I thought I would improvise! Plus I love creating my own boxes! I thought this would be perfect to fill with candy and a gift card for someones birthday! The colors are so happy!

See you soon!

July Club Card

I had a lot of fun with this months club card. I through in a bunch of different techniques. The DSP is the new Chateau Beau along with the coordinating Fabric. We made a rosette from a strip of the floral marina mist fabric, and stuck a few mini brads and pearls in the center. Distressed and sponged the edges of the layers, stenciled, and spritzed the DSP. I was happy with how it turned out. which was good considering I had about an hour to create and prep everything :)

Thanks for stopping in!

Artisan Award Dinner

As part of the honor of winning artisan award, stampin up invited us all to dinner one of the nights we attended convention. I had posted the invite I received in the mail a few post back. It coordinated with the beautiful place setting we had waiting for us when we arrived at dinner. The dinner was truly AMAZING!!! Leave it to Stampin' Up! to go the extra mile to make us feel special. In the little bag in the picture above was this gorgeous stamp! I have to say I think it was the highlight of all the winners night. It was so special for them to make us these! I can't wait to put it to stamping:)
I sat on the far end of the table right across from Amy Schwartz and her husband Marco( I am horrible with names so I really hope I got that right) They were such a pleasure to talk to and get to know!
Below is a picture with the CEO of Stampin' Up! Shelli Gardner. It was such a prefect night. I had a blast! Thank you again for everything!!

Convention shoe box swap

Each year at convention, the group of us that go together participate in a shoe box swap. This years was quite eventful!!! We were all stampin in the downstairs atrium in the center of the hotel we were staying at, pretty late at night. All of the sudden we heard a child crying. I swear the 6 of us went into instant mom mode. The poor little boy was on the 7th floor, running around screaming and crying. He had apparently opened the door half asleep and locked himself out. His parents didn't know since the rooms are all suites he was in a different room then them. Finally after calming him down we were able to get his parents names out of him and security called and knocked on the door! Let me tell you that woke us all up!!! So then after the adrenaline calmed down, we were able to continue to stamp! So here is my card. I know it is a bit funky, but I liked it! Thanks for coming by!

Spooky!!!!

Some of you may know how much I love Halloween. So when I got invited to join the 9 other artisan award winners in a swap at convention, I couldn't help myself but to do something spooky:) Above is the close up of the top of my wand. You can kinda see the shimmers on it! I have been a little into wands lately, so forgive me ahead of time if you see some more in the near future!

And here is the whole thing. I love this set and this ribbon! Can't wait for October to start all my Halloween creating! Thanks for stopping in!

Convention Swap

This year was my 4th convention I have attended through Stampin' Up! I usually don't do swaps since after the first year of disappointment in quality, I figured I would rather spend my time stampin' for myself and the people I enjoy giving to. This year was a little different, I decided to join an organized swap. The rules were strict (which I loved) and the cards were great! Here is what I cam up with for my portion. We only had to make 15 which was nice.
I'm a sucker for baby cards, sets and well anything baby. I love these little onesies! I water colored with Pear Pizazz, Peach Parfait, and Pool Party, cut out and popped the onesies up and threaded a pieces of hemp twine through them!
